Go Ducks Go!
September 20th was the day of the Oregon vs. Boise St in Eugene, and we try to go to one game a year. SO we made the trip down to visit Grammy Angelia and Grampy Kohler, and the rest of the Kohler family including Great Grandma Kohler. We all had a great time. Unfortunately the Ducks lost, but made a good 4th quarter come back attempt. But more importantly, Charlotte received her first poms poms!
Ahoy Maties
Gramma Kay and Grandpa Johny (Diane & Johny Simchuk- for those of you who are confused... "who's Kay?") took us for dinner on their boat. This was Charlotte's first boat ride! AND let me tell ya... she loved it. As we were pulling out of the Thea Foss waterway, we passed by an Argosy Cruise boat, and Charlotte promptly stood up on the bench on her tippy toes, reached her arm up as high as it would stretch, and begun waiving and yelling, "BYE-BYE! BYE-BYE!" It was stinkin' cute, and the folks on the boat laughed and waived back! What a little princess.
Do the Puyallup
A few weeks ago we took Charlotte to the Puyallup Fair for the first time. This was one of my family traditions. We went to the Puyallup Fair EVERY year- a fall must! Charlotte enjoyed the animals, the people, the lights and sounds of the fair. We didn't get to see everything- she could've "mooooo'd" at the cows all night- so we will have much to see next year!

Growing Girl
I forgot to write about taking Charlotte to her 15 month checkup. We were about a month late, but thats ok... she was a month early... so we evened it out! Anyway, she was 29 1/2 " tall and 19 1/2 pounds! Her doctor said, "yep, she is tiny, but she is strong!" ... as she screamed and pushed his arms and stethoscope away! Oh boy... she totally freaked out when he came in! Ya know when you scare a cat and it runs right up your leg- then up and over the top of your head... thats pretty much what she did!

Leavenworth
Weiner Schnitzel, lederhosen, gouda- alles sehr gut! … A few of my favorite things that is! Matt and I had our first little trip away since having Charlotte. It was a little like old times. We kamped (KOA spells kamping with a “k”) in Leavenworth for two nights this past weekend. We sat by a pool, ate food, sat by our campfire, explored the town, ate more food, and snuggled in our tent! We had a wonderfully relaxing time!
.
"OH NO you didn't just eat my perfected roasted marshmellow!"
The Zoos
Last month we took Charlotte to the zoo for the first time. Her favorites were of couse the monkeys! Just this past weekend Uncle Sean took Charlotte to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle (much larger than our little Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma). There she enjoyed the elephants the most. Uncle Sean just kept saying how squirmy she is though! We had to remind him that he is dealing with a toddler!
